Rhizome: potato, taro, sweet potato, melon, bamboo shoots, onion, eggplant
block cut into diced, silk-like.
Leafy vegetables: long strips such as celery, Chinese cabbage, cabbage, spinach,
etc. are cut into diced, sliced, and silky strips. It is especially
